San Antonio 7/13 - 7/15/2001WOW WHAT A WEEKEND!!!! All 3 dog and all 3 sports had a great weekend... Let us start with July 13. Yes it was Friday the 13th... Well the day started off with me driving over to San Antonio bright and early Friday morning!!! We got there in time to watch some of the mini dogs and then to walk our course that was designed by Kelly Carter. Cajun ran first and had a CLEAN run and 3rd place. That was exciting as I haven't shown him since the end of May... Partee then ran and nice clean run for 1st place. Before we did Jumpers I went out to watch the Lanee girl do her breed thing. She was VERY VERY good... and took winners bitch!! This brought her total to 3 points!! So back to the agility ring we go and again BOTH Cajun and Partee run clean for a Double Q for each. and a MXJ title on the Cajun man and also qualifying him for the AKC nationals.... This was Double Q # 4 for Cajun and # 36 for Partee.... After all that Obedience started at 3:30 in the afternoon and Partee got his article right and won 1st in utility for 4 more otch Points brining his total to 17... So saturday after a VERY late friday night we get to the show bright and early and it started off great. Cajun and Partee again both Q'd in standard. Partee with a 2nd place... Then we did jumpers and Cajun missed the weave pole entry but Partee Q'd and earned 1st place for DQ # 37... Out to the conformation area to watch the Lanee girl AGAIN take winners bitch for another point so she now has 4 total... Obedience was not as successful as Partee missed the 2nd article on anotherwize very nice run!!!! So on the SUNDAY and boy were we whiped... But Cajun was clean in standard and Partee was clean and 1st in jumpers. So now that was such a wonderful weekend. I wouldn't mind having weekends like that more often!!! COURSES for this show will not be avaialbe for a while as I still have not replaced the scanner from my robbery!!!
